Tuesdays and Fridays at DesertView clubhouse.
Supervised
Play. Practice! Mondays, Oct 6,13,20 9-11 a.m. or Tuesdays Nov 4, Nov 18 and Dec 2.
10:30-12:30. $25 for a session of 3, or $10 each. Must be registered, this is NOT a drop in.
Modern No
Trump Bidding: Practice Responding to No Trump bids, transferring, and slam
bidding. Tuesdays, October 7,14,21 and 28
9:30-12:30.
Bridge
Basics. Learn to play in a structured
but supportive atmosphere. Wednesdays
October 8,15,22 and 29. 9-11 a.m. $49
plus textbook.
Brush
Up/Play of the Hand. Techniques of play
plus a review of bidding. Mondays and
Wednesdays, Nov 3,5,17, 19 and Dec 1,3,8 and 10. 9-11 a.m. Eight sessions. $89 plus
textbook. This is a “must” class for
those who have not played or taken lessons in some years, or those who have
completed basics.
Rebids.
Focus on your second bid, understand your options and the meanings. Fridays Dec 5 and 12 10-12 noon. $30.
Competitive
Bidding Workshop. A practice session
with prepared hands to work on cue bids, doubles and overcalls. October 27, 9-11 or December 9,
9-11. $15 each session.
