Fall Classes 2009
Mondays 9-11: Play of the Hand, Brush Up bridge. Bid and play. Essential class for those who have completed “Basics” or who have not played in some years.
Begins Oct 5 (or Oct 12). 7 or 8 sessions. DesertView. $100
Wednesdays 9-11: October 7,14,21 and 28. Better Bidding: Modern style evaluation, techniques to find games, ways to compete safely, the important second bid. $75
November 4, 11 and 18: Supervised Play. Randomly dealt hands with help. $30 Both at The Preserve Meeting Room 2.
Fridays. Supervised Play October 2 and 9 10:30-12:30. Randomly dealt hands with help. $20
Modern NoTrump Bidding Oct 23 & 30, Nov 6 and 13. 9-12 Lots of hands to play with Stayman, Transfers, and slams. $75
Competitive Bidding Workshop: Nov 20 10:30-12:30. Practice with actual hands in competitive environment…special ways to show strength or distribution. $15
